Mrs Fickle in the media!

Recently I donated two pendants to auctions run by some wonderful facebook pages to raise money to support the victims of the floods in QLD. The bids surpassed my expectations by so much! It was fantastic to see people digging deep for a good cause and was a great show of Australians helping each other out. So many work at home mums donated items and I'm sure bid on a few too. It was wonderful to see the WAHM community come together to help out.

I'm very proud to say my pendant achieved the highest bid in one of the auctions, a truly amazing $250! Here's an article from the Central Queensland News featuring a Mrs Fickle pendant :)

Pay It Forward 2011

So earlier this month someone posted a facebook status about paying it forward -  they would make you something if you made it your status and made 5 other people something and so on and so forth.. I thought it was a great excuse for me to try out new designs so here are a couple.. I've tried to match the style to the recipient so I really hope they like them..

Valentine's Day Challenge

So Mrs Fickle and the Loopy Pear's page insights tell me that we have zero male likers! Zip!
I know we have had several male customers but I guess they aren't likers or Facebook is telling me fibs.
Anyway... I originally thought I would just do a status update telling husbands, partners and boyfriends that a Mrs Fickle piece might be a nice idea for a Valentine's Day gift but after checking the stats I'm thinking that wouldn't work very well so here's the plan...

You do the telling for me! Tell your husband/boyfriend/partner that a Mrs Fickle piece would be a really great Valentine's Day gift and get him to email me at mrsfickle@live.com before Monday 24th January and tell me why you are his Valentine. I'll choose my favourite answer and offer him a pendant of his choice at half price and get it to him in time for Valentine's Day. It's then up to him if he wants to tell you he's won or if he wants to keep it as a surprise for his Valentine <3

I'm very new to this blogging world. I don't really know what I'm doing so bear with me.
Facebook doesn't allow competitions on it's site so I have decided to start a blog to keep you updated with everything that is happening in the Fickle house and to also allow me somewhere to have some fun away from party pooping FB!
